Who is entitled to enter the competition (the “Entry Requirements”)?
To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must:
- be an Australian resident, 18 years and over
- have a valid email address, an Australian residential address and an Australian mobile phone number during the Competition Period
- be an accredited broker with Ubank
- not be an Ineligible Entrant

Who is not allowed to enter the competition (the “Ineligible Entrants”)?
- Employees and contractors of the Promoter and immediate family members of employees and contractors
- Employees and contractors of the agencies or companies associated with the competition.

How does someone enter the competition (the “Entry Method”)?
To enter the competition, an Eligible Entrant must:
- provide their feedback on Ubank’s new lodgment plaform, in 25 words or less, along with their first and last name, via [email protected]
The submission of feedback in accordance with these terms will be constitute an “entry” into the competition).

When will the competition run (the “Competition Period”)?
The Competition Period starts at 12am 12 March 2025 AEST time and entries close, unless extended by the Promoter, on 11:59pm 17 April 2025 AEST.

What is the maximum number of entries per Entrant (the “Maximum Number of Entries”)?
One.
If an Eligible Entrant submits multiple entries, the first otherwise valid entry received by the Promoter, as determined by the Promoter, will be taken to be that Entrant’s entry into the Competition, and all subsequent entries will be considered invalid entries.

How will the winners be chosen (the “Entry Criteria”)?
The winning entry will be those the judges determine to be the best overall based on the following criteria:
- Clarity & conciseness (i.e. easy to read and understand)
- Relevance to system features (i.e. referencing specific system features of Ubank’s new lodgement platform)
- Specificity & impact (i.e. references the specific impact that a feature has improved or hindered a brokers ability to complete their role).

What are the details of each prize (the “Prize”)?
There is one (1) Prize to be won.
The Prize consists of a $500 David Jones e-Gift Card.

What is the value of each prize?
The Prize is valued at $500.

What is the total value of all prizes (the “Total Prize Pool”)?
$500 (incl GST)

Do any special conditions need to be met for the winner to accept the prize?
Redemption of the Prize is subject to the issuer’s standard terms and conditions of use.

Are there any other special conditions?
By entering the Competition, Entrants agree to the Conditions of Entry, and expressly acknowledge that their entry may be published on LinkedIn in accordance with those Conditions of Entry.

How and when will the winner(s) be notified (the “Notification Method” and “Notification Date”)?
The winners will be notified by email using the email address registered with the Promoter at the time of entry, and their names posted on broker.ubank.com.au no later than 30 April 2025.

How are prizes to be claimed?
Prizes will be delivered to the Winners via the email address registered with the Promoter for that Winner.
The Promoter reserves the right to contact the Winner to verify the Winner’s email address prior to attempting to deliver the Prize (but is under no obligation to do so). If this occurs, the Winner must verify their email address to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction within 2 business days or they will be deemed to have forfeited their Prize.

Is there a fee for entry?
There is no entry fee.

General
- These Conditions of Entry must be read together with the Competition Details. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
Eligibility
- Entry is open to residents of the Applicable State/s who comply with the Entry Requirements (if any). Entries submitted by Ineligible Entrants are not accepted. If entry is permitted to persons under 18, those entrants must first obtain consent of their parent or guardian.
- The competition will be run during the Competition Period. Entries received after the Competition Period will not count towards the Competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, undelivered or misdirected entries.
Entry
- To enter, entrants must follow the Entry Method. Entrants may only submit up to the Maximum Number of Entries.
- The Promoter reserves the right to reject an Entry if it reasonably forms the opinion that an Entry has been created and/or submitted using automated entry means or a computer entry service, or if the Entry contains content that is, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, insulting, threatening, obscene, inflammatory or otherwise inappropriate.
- All entries will become the Promoter’s property. Each entry must be the entrant’s original work and entrants agree that the Promoter, or a related body corporate of the Promoter, may make copies of, or publish, their entry, with or without attribution, and with or without reasonable edits, in any form of media. Entrants warrant that their entry is not, and its use by the Promoter will not be, in breach of any person’s intellectual property rights or any other rights.
How the winner/s will be determined
- This is a Game of Skill and chance plays no part in determining winners.
- The Promoter will appoint a panel of judges. Each valid entry will be individually judged on the basis of the Entry Criteria. The best valid entry/ies as determined by the judges according to the Entry Criteria will win the Prize/s as set out in the Competition Details. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner/s
- The Winner(s) will be notified in accordance with the Competition Details.
- The Winner(s) must claim the Prize within the Claim Period (if any). The Promoter will not be responsible for any delay, loss or damage to the Prize once it has left the Promoter’s or supplier’s premises or email systems.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter also reserves the rights not to deliver the Prize to a Winner where delivering/providing a prize to the Winner would cause the Promotor to breach or likely to breach of any Australian law.
- If the Winner is unable to comply with these Terms and Conditions and/or does not claim the Prize within the Claim Period, the Winner will forfeit the Prize, and the Promoter will award the Prize to the next best valid entry that has not already won a Prize.
Prize
- The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take a part of the Prize at the time set by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit that part.
- The value of the Prize is the recommended retail price as provided by the supplier (inclusive of GST) and is correct as at the start of the Competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in Prize value.
- If a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter will substitute it for one of at least equal value.
- The Promoter does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of the Promoter and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.
- The Promotor accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.
Risk and liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and the suppliers, agencies and other companies involved in this Competition assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or loss or damage to data.
- If this Competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason (including as a result of technical failures, fraud or causes beyond the Promoter’s control), the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, cancel, suspend or change the Competition and re-commence it on similar terms, subject to any directions by regulatory authorities.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents exclude liability for all loss (including loss of data, unauthorised access to data and consequential loss), damage, expenses, death or personal injury suffered or incurred arising out of, or in connection with, this Competition (including in relation to the Winner’s participation in this Competition and use of the Prize).
Other
- Any disputes regarding this competition or the claiming of a Prize should be promptly raised with the Promoter, in writing, using the contact details set out in these terms. The Promoter will consider the merits of the dispute in good faith, and where a dispute is considered valid, will take reasonable steps to address the issue raised.
- This Competition is not affiliated with David Jones Pty Ltd or the issuer of David Jones e-Gift Cards.
